Not measuredFrom attendance to outcome.
Fairfield State University, Center for Business Engagement. Dr. Alana Reyes, Director. 180 businesses served last year.
Step 01 of 07
Illustrative example180 businesses served last year. No evidence any of them changed.
The center runs a full calendar. Workshops, panels, office hours, a pitch night. Attendance gets tracked carefully because attendance is the only thing there is an instrument for. When the provost asks what the program produced, the answer is a headcount, and everyone in the room understands that a headcount is not an outcome.
What the institution sees
A calendar that is full and a report that is thin.
What the system does
Nothing yet. There is no baseline, so there is nothing to compare anything against.
What they can report
Attendance. That is the ceiling until something gets measured.
